We are proud to offer the Sandusky area’s first nationally certified and state licensed acupuncturist, Lisa Wilson. Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles on various points on the body’s surface to influence physiological functioning of the body. Acupuncture mobilizes and regulates qi and blood to invigorate the physiological function of the muscles, nerves, glands, and organs.

Lisa Wilson is licensed with the State of Ohio as a registered Acupuncturist. She has a Master’s of Science from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was awarded the title of Diplomat of Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is a member of the Ohio Association of Oriental Medicine and the American Association of Oriental Medicine.

 

Lisa offers treatments, which address not only the symptoms but also the entire well-being of her patients. Integrating Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping, Tui Na (massage), Chinese Herbology, and dietary therapy, she develops a unique and comprehensive program of treatment for each person.
